About Us
We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), a denomination of more than 10,000 churches with 5 million members. We are a part of the Lutheran family of Christians who trace our history to the 16th century reformation of the Roman Catholic Church. There are more than 70 million Lutherans worldwide on every continent, historically in Northern Europe and North America, but now growing rapidly in Africa and Asia. Our way of being Christian emphasizes the importance of worship that praises God and honors him with lives of love and service to others.
